About Atlantic City’s Firefighters FMBA Local 8

We are a team of highly skilled firefighters dedicated to protecting our community.

Our mission is support the development of Atlantic City through community events and youth programs. We want to provide opportunities to the youth of Atlantic City and ensure the future success in public safety.

Atlantic City Firefighters Local 8 offers a wide range of services to the community including fire suppression, rescue operations, hazardous materials response, and community outreach programs. Our department also partners with local organizations to provide free smoke detectors to residents in need.

Our History

Established in 1904 the Atlantic City Firefighters have been serving our community for over 120 years. Our department has grown to include six stations, a fleet of modern fire trucks, and highly trained firefighters.
